I am pleased to announce the release of lzip 1.1.
Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with
very safe integrity checking and a user interface almost identical to
the one of bzip2.
The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html.
The sources can be dowloaded from
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/.
The md5sum is:
f016e24a935aadd07e40fe08cfa176f5 lzip-1.1.tar.bz2
This release is also GPG signed. You can download the signature by
appending ".sig" to the URL.
Changes in version 1.1:
* The short name of the option "--dictionary-size" has been changed
to "-s".
* The short name of the option "--match-length" has been changed to "-m".
* A couple of build problems on BSD have been fixed.
* Some user messages have been improved.
Please send bug reports and suggestions to address@hidden
Regards,
Antonio Diaz, lzip author and maintainer.
