I'm trying to port Lzip to DOS via 32-bit DJGPP just for fun. I succeeded to build the project after some minor changes. Compression "seems to work", but decompression or testing always fails with "decoder error at pos XXX". Is there some working port for Win32 to test with?
Wolfgang Buechel reported[1] that lzip can be compiled on windows with cygwin[2].
[1] http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lzip-bug/2009-08/msg00005.html [2] http://www.cygwin.com/ There is also an OS/2 port[3] built by Elbert Pol. [3] http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/h-search.php?key=lzip Best regards, Antonio.
