Subject: | [Lzip-bug] [PATCH] Add executable extensions support to lzip 1.11 |
Date: | Tue, 18 Jan 2011 16:17:31 -0500 |
Gentle Lzip Support Engineers,
I had the pleasure of porting lzip-1.11 to the POSIX environment of the Stratus OpenVOS operating system. Our operating system has a required executable extension and I had to make a few small changes to the files to get it to properly build and run its self-tests. I did not have to make any changes to the C++ code. The resulting package now passes all of its self-tests when built and executed on OpenVOS Release 17.0.2ax.
I am enclosing the patches for my changes. I hope you can adopt them for your official distribution. If you have comments or suggestions that would improve them, I will do my best to respond and make whatever changes you feel are needed so they can be adopted.

Thanks
