Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with
very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to the one of
gzip or bzip2. Lziprecover is a data recovery tool for lzip-compressed
files.
The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html.
Changes in this version:
* For large values of "--match-length", (high compression levels),
compression ratio has been slightly increased and compression time has
been reduced by up to 6%.

Antonio Diaz, lzip author and maintainer.
