Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with
very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to the one of
gzip or bzip2. Lzip decompresses almost as fast as gzip and compresses
better than bzip2, which makes it well suited for software distribution
and data archiving.
The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html
Changes in this version:
* Multi-step trials have been implemented.
* Compression ratio has been slightly increased.
* Compression time has been reduced by 5%.
* The target "install-bin" has been added to the Makefile.
* 'setmode' is now used instead of '_setmode' on Windows and OS/2.
* 'strtoull' has been defined to 'std::strtoul' on Windows.

Antonio Diaz, lzip author and maintainer.
