If you would like to see newer versions in the upcoming Debian 10 than that, I can upload anything that you'd release prior 2019-02-01.
Thank you very much for the warning.I plan to release stable versions of the 11 lzip related packages (except maybe tarlz) almost daily from the first day of January. Thus I expect to be done well before 2019-02-01.
I see that the tarlz packaged is still 0.4. The last tarlz 0.8 has a lot of important new functionality over 0.4, including the ability to archive files with long names or with sizes larger than 8 GiB. I'm not sure if I'll be able to release 0.9 before 2019-02-01 because I plan to implement parallel '--list' in it, which is not easy.
Best regards, Antonio.
