What is or was test/test_em.txt.lz, and why was it removed?
test_em.txt.lz is a multimember file with 5 empty members (members with empty uncompressed data). It has been removed because empty members in multimember files are no longer accepted by lzip tools. (Empty members may be used to mark a file in the same way as zero-width characters, which can be invisibly inserted in a text).
Empty members are still checked by 'make check' (even more than before), but the multimember files used to test them are now generated instead of distributed.
Best regards, Antonio.
