Surprisingly, even though this makes for simpler m4 code for our
users, the implementation actually requires slightly more code than it
saves!!
I've created an 'include-dso' branch in our repository for you to play
with.
If you want to try it out before my libtool patch 370 makes it into the
libtool tree, you'll need to patch ltdl/ sources in m4 after libtoolize
to compensate by hand.
I find this approach much cleaner than a separate load builtin, and
unless
you hate it, I'd like to cherry-pick it back onto master once libtool
has
caught up.
