Hi - I think you could just change the password for that user. Then the
mail being in the archive wouldn't hurt anything, it seems to me. (And
you could make the archive public again.)
You can change the password at
https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/admin/www-tr-comm/members
Or you could unsubscribe/resubscribe their address, which will have the
same effect.
