Dear reader, In the last a couple of years a college of mine has developed
a fluid dynamics simulation program called Dolfyn Information can be found on www.dolfyn.net It is a free code developed in Fortran on a Linux os. The intention was and still is to enable users to the
perform a complete simulation using a set of free tools. In computational fluid dynamics it is many times desirable
to be able to add small user defined pieces of code to describe special circumstances The
core-code does permit this. To get as many users as possible it would be a big
advantage to have proper tools with which also users of windows systems would be able
to easily and reliable compile and link the code there self. using a free Fortran 95 compiler, in other words a
tool like make. Is such a tool available and if so where can it be
found under what conditions Looking forward to your answer, Peet Franken |
