I haven't tried it, but the multiupload thing is definitely something
desirable, even into mediagoblin's core, may I say.

I am also interested in the 'band/album/track'. I'll take a look at
the code. Maybe we can make something generic. It would be nice to see
some form of 'aggregate' media with more features than just a
collection.

A feature that could benefit from that is the SCAD plugin I'm working
on. SCAD projects usually generate more than one artifact (say, stl
files for 3d printing and dxf files for laser cutting) and it would be
nice to treat them separately (with their respective processing
pipelines) but still have them within the same media entry.
