The default ovweb command works fine for me without any arguments...
(I see from a previous post that you are using the CVS with Pango(tm)
patches...your ovweb command should be fine.

The number of times the connection was attempted, and failed, AFAIK.

Yes. I don't know what exactly to look for, but here are some of
the messages that the Overnet support logs:
