Well, read the man page of perlcc:

| $ perlcc hello # Compiles into executable 'a.out'
| $ perlcc -o hello hello.pl # Compiles into executable 'hello'

Should'n be too hard to use.
Please note: Don't try this with Perl 5.6.0, the perlcc in that version
is much more experimental than the still beta version in 5.8.0. But The
one from 5.8.0 works for update_rrd.pl, while the one from 5.6.0
compiles for ours, eats all your RAM and then dies.
So if you use Perl 5.6.x, don't even _think_ of trying this.
