Follow-up Comment #2:

Runned a sed script to replace every single "Buffer.clear" by "Buffer.reset".
No performance break-in here and flattens my memory consumption. But still
there is memory kept on searches and "vd #". maybe a Gd.dump before and after
a "vd #" will help, but i had no time to compile ocaml with the patch yet.
