Monit shoudn't be able to do this. I don't like the idea of a monitoring
daemon which can overwrite its security configuration ( - at best within a
low priviledged cronjob, - uhh!-).
Better provide a seperate shell or perl script with some documentation which
exactly does this. You have to rewrite monit's conf anyhow.
What about asking Etienne to contribute such a script?
