Apropos protocol testing. Today we have tests for the following
protocols, FTP IMAP SMTP HTTP NNTP and POP. You can see how such a
protocol test is implemented by checking the source (Luke), for
instance, monit/protocols/pop.c As you can see it's fairly easy to
create such a test routine.
I have two requests:
1) Send new suggestions for protocol tests to this list, so we can
have a whish list of protocol tests to implement when we have time.
2) Even better, send us a patch with your implementation of a specific
protocol test.
