Hi,you should disable monitoring before upgrade (unmonitor) and enable after upgrade (monitor). If you are using static checksum in monit control file, you will need to fix it and reload monit configuration (either "monit reload" or send HUP to monit).

I'm monitoring file checksums with monit of my services - however when I upgrade the service, monit clearly complains. Short of HUPng the process, how do I tell monit that it's ok? I couldn't see it in the manual, and telling monit to monitor the file again via teh web interface fails. Thanks, Ian -- To unsubscribe: http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monit-general
