I want to use MONIT like a heartbeat monitor. Martin gave me a good idea
on how I could use the timestamp changes to a file being written to by a
monitored process to implement a heartbeat monitor.
Can MONIT be configured to monitor itself; i.e., can it send a periodic
signal to another process indicating its own health?
