I'm not sure if it just be course you're missing the " " around the script. Control File:
check program myscript path /home/user/test2.sh
if status == 1 then alert
The script has:
$ cat test2.sh
#!/bin/bash
echo test
exit $?
When running monit I get the following:
$ monit
/home/user/.monitrc:13: Error: syntax error 'myscript'
Am using:
$ monit -V
This is Monit version 5.2.1
Copyright (C) 2000-2010 by Tildeslash Ltd. All Rights Reserved.
