As far I see "protocol smtps" means SMTP + STARTTLS.
I suggest to change it to SMTP with SSL as per /etc/services.
SMTP + STARTTLS could have another name.

It is strange for me that "smtps" works for SMTP+STARTTLS and SMTP
over SSL also.
