monit v5.34 not working on centos 7 and 6

    Hello all,
    
    the new version of monit 5.34 doesn't work on centos 7 and 6:
    
    /bin/monit: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.27' not found
    (required by /bin/monit)
    /bin/monit: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.25' not found
    (required by /bin/monit)
    
    Unfortunately those versions of glibc seem not installable on centos
    7/6....
    
    Any hints?
