hi,
I've done some major surgery on the 3-way line merger, and extended
its testsuite significantly, both with specific tests and a random
testcase source. I believe it is now working (more) properly. I have
committed appropriate changes both to my depot and to CVS. if you find
any further bugs with it, please let me know.
