Meanwhile, the problem is solved. :-) I can build Monotone
(self-checked-out from the official site) like this:

    export CFLAGS="-yet_exec -yno_propolice -O0"
    export CXXFLAGS=$CFLAGS
    autoreconf -i
    ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/monotone

And then it works like a charm. I already set-up a CGI
deposit of my own, and I love it. This distro-repository
thing is _cool_.
