Hi Graydon and team,
I'm very excited about the forthcoming changeset version of monotone,
and would love to try it out. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck on the
issues that I last wrote about:
1) (Trivial) In main.cc, the __unix conditionalization for the signal
handling needs to have "|| defined(__APPLE__)" added, as for God alone
knows what reason, __unix isn't defined by GCC on OS X.
2) (Harder) Please, please, please upgrade to Crypto++ 5.2.1; the
Crypto++ code in there now flat won't compile on Apple's GCC 3.3. It
eventually consumes all virtual memory and kills the machine. Yes, even
with -O0. Yes, even with -fno-coalesce-templates and friends. Yes, yes,
yes, I've tried it all. Please just upgrade. Thanks. :-)
Many thanks and best regards,
Paul Snively
