Also descriptions attached to tag labels could be nice: they could store
a "changelog summary" with only big-changes such as are usually
sumamrized in release READMEs.

OTOH tags could probably grow to be branch-specific, so that the "mtn ls
tags" space doesn't get so much polluted. Mhh. Have to think on it further..
