I  also dislike the new commit message format. While I can
jump down 14 lines, I think the "jump" is an usability issue
and the behaviour should be reverted back to previous version.

If we want to preserve the current functionality, we could prefix
other info with '#' like this:

# Lines starting with '#' do not go into Changelog message.
# The values of Author, Date and Branch may be modified as required.
#
# *** REMOVE THIS LINE TO CANCEL THE COMMIT ***
