out of curiosity, do we plan to maintain a stable 1.x branch from there
on and focus new development on nvm for a 2.0 version later on. Or is
the 1.x merely a vague indicator for progress and stability and we
continue with rising x until we think a 2.0 is due?
Otherwise, +1 for what I'd call a release candidate.
