Ok. It makes sense that the monotone website should be the authoritative
source for reference info and announcements.

Yes.

That might change if it announcements were _not_ made to monotone-devel.

I'm way behind on web stuff; I'm a die-hard mailing list and newsgroup
user.
Emacs Gnus (which I use to read news and mail) does incorporate an RSS
reader. However, I can't figure out what URL to give it;
http://www.monotone.ca/ doesn't work, and I don't see anything on that
page to indicate what the RSS URL might be.

As long as it is clear how to integrate the RSS feed into typical
clients, that's fine.

That would be good, but it might be more appropriate to feed to
monotone-announce, to encourage use of that list.
