Hey Richard!

We need CIA - I just noticed that you added an 'export' command as
shortcut for checkout && rm -rf _MTN on Oct 24th, but there is no NEWS
entry and no accompanying test and the log entry is also absolutely not
helpful. Could you please improve that?
