Subject: [Nel] 3D Studio Max SDK
I'm hoping somebody can explain to me why 3ds MAX
SDK is needed. I had a hard time finding it and ended up calling Discreet
(company that makes 3dsmax). It turns out they call the SDK "sparks" (http://sparks.discreet.com) and
looks like it costs $400/year/developer. Is this really required for
developing a game with NeL? I am just a little confused but it looks like the
plugin tools from NeL require it. Could someone help me out with this? Are
these plugins built already somewhere and can be used with 3D Studio
Max?
Thanks,
John
