i don't use snowballs we have not used it in a long time

please show me the call stack at the point it crashes and a copy of the 
runtime error dialog

I have take a look on www.neverborn.net site is well design but that s only 
the begining.
For my prb i have inspected client.cfg and the variable showcommand is 
defined :

// If 1, display the command (chat) interface
ShowCommands = 0;

Changing value 0 dont change anything.

I imagined u dont have this prb .
What s ur pc config ?

For me :
Xp home sp2 fr
Directx9.c
ATI radeon 9700.
Visual studio 6 sp5 + processor pack

What versions of libraries do u have ?
STLPORT ?
LIBXML ?
FREETYPE  ?

i would guess your missing

ShowCommands variable from the config file

as this would cause that line to crash

Welcome all

After 1 years ( hum may be more )  i have got some times to spend with all
of you.
I have seen ryzom !! A very good french mmporg  ( french are the best )  and
now i have compiled Nel and Snowball.

First impressions:
-          Code have less error at compilation 
-          Snowball seem faster ( lod of landscape seem better )
-          Haha always so difficult to build data ( landscape )  no tools
like wordcraft

I have compiled all as it’s described in  Wikky help ( very good ) . Very
good idea to give the link to library

PS: Does the compilation of Libxml2  realy need Zlib ? i dont think so.


OK i build all snowball binaries ( debug , release and releaseDebug. )
When i run snowball in release mode ( debug and releaseDebug run well ) i
have got a runtime error.

I have located error in commands.cpp :
If i add comments to this lines that’s resolve the problem but why this
error ??? I let you looking for  :
           InfoLog->addDisplayer (&CommandsDisplayer);
           WarningLog->addDisplayer (&CommandsDisplayer);
           AssertLog->addDisplayer (&CommandsDisplayer);
           ErrorLog->addDisplayer (&CommandsDisplayer);


Now i will compile tools for build data and write some helps for all of us.


Question for the future:
- Can we make complexe interior ( like doom , half life ... )
- If i able to upgrade snowball , what would u like me i add ? water ? ai
script ?  interior ?
