[Nmh-workers] on ubuntu/postfix nmh comp fails

[r help]

hi

i installed the ubuntu nmh package but when i try to
'comp' an email
message, i get the error

post: problem initializing server; [BHST] premature
end-of-file on pipe
send: message not delivered to anyone

which i dont understand.  mailx works fine in sending
emails.

any help would be appreciated.
