I found that fix when researching the problem. But I believe that it
doesn't really get to the root of the problem. Specifically:
- The Tk documentation says you can still use X font specifications to
specify fonts.
- However, when you do that with a semicondensed font (which is what "fixed"
ends up resolving to) you get an entirely different font. It doesn't matter
if you used "fixed" or the full font name; doesn't work, you get something
else.
That seems like a Tk bug to me. Okay, exmh is still using the Old World
Order font stuff. But that should still end up with the same fonts as
it did before.
