I think you'd know right away if you get a bounce.
When you asked about this in February, the way we left things was:
- You'll set "servers" to smtp.tsoft.com (You didn't need to do any
authentication, from what I remember).
- When you want to send email to yourself, you'll use "send -server localhost"
AFACT, that setup should still do everything you want. Your other options
are:
- Alias "norm" to "address@hidden" in nmh (and keep servers at smtp.tsoft.com).
- Modify your Postfix configuration to deliver local mail locally and punt
everything to your ISP's smarthost.
