Follow-up Comment #4, bug #31287 (project octave):
Just a FYI: the original submission examples for this does work in Octave
3.0.1 (windows) but not in 3.2.2 (as reported) or later. The duplicate bug
(https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?31764) that was only reported for
logical indexing concurred with a subset of this breakage for around the same
version numbers.
So at least in version 3.0.1 it was all working as expected.
