Follow-up Comment #1, bug #35819 (project octave): This may be a Windows-only problem as 'mkoctfile' with no arguments produces only the usage message and no additional warnings. This was on a Linux machine. The bug report indicates you are running version 3.6.0. Could you try 'version' at the command prompt to verify this.
