Follow-up Comment #1, bug #36442 (project octave):
This is a limitation of gnuplot. It doesn't handle 3d plotting very well. Try
fltk instead, run "graphics_toolkit fltk" before any plotting command. If you
want this fix in gnuplot, we should bring it up with them.
By the way, "Mathlab" sounds so close to "methlab", which is a funny way to
refer to Matlab.
