Follow-up Comment #8, bug #32311 (project octave):
It appears that most of the problems reported in this 2-year old report have
been fixed.
1) Default 'clipping' for text objects is now off.
2) Text objects outside the axes do not force an axis rescale.
3) labels are correctly positioned after axis()
Can this be closed now?
