Follow-up Comment #1, bug #38559 (project octave):

I don't think this bug is a duplicate of bug #38560.

This one applies to the parser which ignores a multi-line comment if its
beginning is preceded by a single-line comment. Bug #38560 applies to the
editor of the gui where all multi-line are ignored by the syntax highlighting.
