Follow-up Comment #1, bug #38574 (project octave):
That's weird. The file permissions on the tarball are indeed as you say but
they are correct on the repository.
A new release of the package might be in order but I'm unsure if this
shouldn't be considered a pkg bug as well. Should pkg adjust file permissions
when installing a package as well?
