Follow-up Comment #1, bug #40214 (project octave):
Yes, Octave shouldn't be deleting the other objects. The issue is explained
in bug #40212--Octave doesn't have a base graphics object of type rectangle.
Still it shouldn't be too hard to do the right thing here.
