Follow-up Comment #1, bug #37598 (project octave):
This issue also affects the current 3.7.7+ version of octave.
I'm using the intel driver on Ubuntu 12.04.3.
The plotted line and grid line becomes visible if its width is set to 1
(instead of 0.5).
I could not reproduce this error with a simple fltk program where is plotted a
line of 0.5 width. The line appears in all cases as a solid line independently
of the setting of GL_LINE_SMOOTH.
