Follow-up Comment #8, bug #38270 (project octave):

I checked the NEWS file from GNU units and the compact and one-line options
were added in 1.86 (10 Nov 2006). Was there anything similar to that before?
Is there anything for non GNU versions of units? Any documentation for it at
all?
