Follow-up Comment #1:

I changed the default build configuration to enable the JIT compiler.  At the
same time I changed the runtime configuration for JIT to be disabled.  I added
a new command line option '--jit-compiler' to enable JIT, and removed the
option '--no-jit-compiler'.  See
