Follow-up Comment #13, bug #41608 (project octave):

I don't think we're going to change the default axes linewidth if Matlab has
0.5, and this value works for most users.

One thing to do would be to ask jwe on the maintainers list about backporting
the anti-aliasing patch on to stable or gui-release so that at least something
would appear for built-in Intel video cards.
