Follow-up Comment #2, bug #41711 (project octave):

You are setting some other options in the configure command that are defaults,
like --with-qhull and --enable-shared.

Also, are you sure you need --enable-64?  Have you read

and have you built all the dependencies to also use 64-bit integers for
indexing?
