Details:

The problem description is as follows:

When you run the command run-octave --force-gui, the GUI opens as a small
window. But the window icon at the top thinks that screen is in full screen
mode.

So when you click on that icon for making it full screen, nothing happens.

The OS I am using is Ubuntu 10.04 and Octave was built from source by me.

Compiler used : GCC 4.8.1
