Details:

3 monitor setup with large screen in center as main screen, two others are
smaller. Octave GUI is maximized on main (large) screen.

With the editor tab selected, press ctrl-F. Find dialog appears on the monitor
to the right of the main screen, but is positioned too high so that only the
bottom of the box is visible, almost useless. Since the top bar of the box
isn't visible, it's impossible to grab it to drag the box down.

This is happening because the main monitor is 1200 px high but the other
monitors are only 1080 px. The fix would be to v-center the find dialog box
wrt the originating window, or go whole-hog and use the system functions to
find the height of the monitor where the dialog box will pop up.
