Follow-up Comment #5, bug #44447 (project octave):

IMHO there should be some coordination period to give Octave Forge package
maintainers a chance to release updated packages that work with one of the
release candidates. If after whatever time period is agreed on the packages
have not been updated and do not work with the release candidate, then it
could be considered to drop them from the mxe-octave bundle.
