Details:


When attempting to cross compile the control package from mercurial in octave
4.0.0-rc1, the compilation fails as the package creates a .a file using the
'ar' command which then is added to the objects compiled with mkoctfile.

Creating a AR based on the 'ar' from mkoctfile allows it to compile ok.

Patch attached.
